Coos Bay Fishing
Coos Bay Salmon Fishing
King & Silver Salmon
A strong hatchery program makes Coos Bay a consistent producer of King Salmon.
The largest bay on the Oregon Coast hosts an abundant run of fall king salmon as well as a strong run of wild silver salmon. Most years, the wild Coho run is so strong that it justifies harvest. The kings will average in 14-20lbs and few in the 20-30lbs. Coos Bay can be one of the most productive Chinook fisheries in the state.
Salmon enter Coos Bay in August, with the run peaking in September and early October. Our season starts here September 1st -30th. Trolling herring is our 25’ Willie Fuzion handling group of 6. Drift boat fishing with bobbers October 1st-15th.
